Native bobwhite

The rarest experience cannot be manufactured.

Beginning November 21, a small number of guests may pursue genuinely wild coveys in a dedicated reserve. These are habitat-first hunts: no released birds, no promised harvest and no pressure beyond what the population can sustain.

A limited first look at Carpenter.

A select number of hunting parties will be welcomed while restoration of the preserve’s historic structures continues.

Every quail package includes guides, dogs, field transportation, birds, shells, shotgun use, hunting license, bird cleaning and packaging, and the meals listed with each package. There are no additional bird, ammunition or gun rental charges.

Meals are catered at the preserve or enjoyed at a local restaurant at our expense, including restaurant gratuities.

Guide gratuities are optional and are not included in the package price. Our guides are paid by the preserve; any additional tip is entirely at your discretion.
